Enjoying the Summer!

Wow this is certainly a busy summer! Bob (hubby) and I have gone to the Bristol Renaissance Faire several times already this year. (That's me in one of my costumes) More photos are in my Flickr Account.

I really need to take some photos of some of the wonderful ART we've taken home!! We've bought some small stained glass art, copper sculpture art - I got an art doll... oh I just LOVE shopping at the Ren Faire :)

This weekend I get to stay home... I have a show in 2 weeks and I need bears LOL!!!!

I am working on a new bear for my site: www.FreeTeddyBearPatterns.NET and the prototype will be available for adoption on my site ... hopefully by tomorrow!

A New Website!!

I'm very excited to announce a new website for those interested in bearmaking:

I will be providing Tips.... little things and tricks that I've learned to make my own bearmaking easier - my my FreeTeddyBearPatterns blog. I've also started on a page for beginning bear makers. I hope you will share photos of bears that you may create from these patterns.

Stewart... a new Mini Bear! ADOPTED

I'd like to introduce Stewart to you! He's a new mini bear just out of the studio. I have not yet done his "studio photos" (which I plan to do on Monday) but thought I'd show you a preview - and give you a chance to adopt him before he goes to eBay if you like.

I'm Back!!

Back from Mom's

I'm back from my Mom's and well rested :) Silly me forgot to take my camera.... but I DID work on bears! I didn't finish any one bear... but did little bits of work on a lot.

I'm getting ready for the 2nd Annual Maine Teddy Bear Show and would like to bring a dozen of my little Pocket Bears. Of course, I still want to bring new bears to my website and eBay... the little guy in the center will get there soon... after he can hear!

Mom apologized that we didn't really "do" anything... and I told her that THIS was exactly what I needed... to NOT do anything LOL!

One fact I found amusing.... Mom was glad I brought the sewing machine down.... as she had some mending that needed to be done... and buttons to be sewn on. Hmmmm... isn't the MOM supposed to do that for the KID... not the other way around? LOL!!!!!!
