Enjoying a Day Off......

Today is my birthday and my boss (of my full time job) gave me the day off.  I thought my other boss (ie: me) should do the same :)  So today I'm taking a full day just for me.  It's finally sunny out and so I'm going to drive to one of the small towns nearby and have fun poking around in the antique shops!  I'm sure the bears won't mind if Momma takes ONE day off.... LOL!  Hope you all have a great day too!

5 New Mini Bears

Holy cow!  I can't believe I forgot to post a photo of the 5 mini bears I created for LAST weekend's online show!  I'm so sorry...I was also working all weekend at my full time job and totally forgot.

Let me introduce the gang to you.....   The 2 tone bears have all been adopted.  The two bears on the ends in front (Matthew and Sarah) are going to dive into the closet for a wardrobe change and make an appearance on the website in the next week or two along with another  bear or two!

Looking Forward in 2013

Yesterday I filled out my Kentucky state sales taxes for the year and realized just how few bears were created in 2012!

There were many reasons for this - going back to work full time after 10 years, getting into a fabulous new relationship, changing jobs and moving yet again .

This year . my goal will be to create more bears in 2013  I am really looking forward to doing that anyways as I never feel  quite satisfied unless I am creating .

First Critter of 2013 - Lucky!

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays.  They've been busy ones for us.

I'd like to introduce you to the first critter of 2013 - Lucky!

He was created out of light tan curly matted mohair with a dark backing.

He is fully jointed, but designed to sit. 

Sitting he's 4 1/2" tall to the top of his head, not counting his ears.

He has a hand stitched black nose and dark cocoa brown inner ears.

He's filled with fiberfil and quite a bit of steel shot for a nice heavy feel.

Lucky is fully potty trained and ready to find his new "forever home"

Lucky's adoption fee is $85 plus shipping.
