My Bearthday Present!

Look what my hubby made me for my birthday!! I call it a "bear case" cause it will never be used to hold books LOL!

It's solid oak with a natural finish to bring out the beauty of the natural color of the wood. If you want to see a larger version, just click on the picture.

I had been wanting a case in this spot for a while. I walk by here all the time and I love to look at my furry friends as I walk by.

The other "gift" I got (OK so I got it for myself LOL!) was an ebook. It's an electronic device to read ebooks. I LOVE this thing! This is why I won't be needing shelves for books anymore LOL!

I had first heard about this on Amazon with their Kindle. I started poking around and found that there are several different kinds of ereaders. Not all books will work on all ereaders - there are several different formats of ebooks - and the different ereaders read different formats (lovely.. NOT!) But I do love my ebook! I got the one at Filament Books with their monthly book club. This ereader is not as lightweight as the Kindle, but it certainly is sturdy! I still may get that Kindle one day though... Amazon DOES have the largest selection of ebooks in once place ;)

Happy birthday to you. I also signed up for the Filament ebook club a few months ago. I love it. Not only can I get ebooks from them, but I have purchased several from Ebookwise.com and gotten many free ebooks from http://www.munseys.com/site/home and others.

    Enjoy your ereading!

Thanks so much!!! I had done some research over the weekend on what I can read on my eBook and made up a blog about it. I discovered how I can read MS Reader books on it too! http://ebookwise.blogspot.com/
